Visualising Uncertainty, a Short Introduction

Members of the SEA++ Team have created the “Visualising Uncertainty, a Short Introduction” catalogue for the Analysis Under Uncertainty for Decision-Makers (AU4DM) network.

The AU4DM network is a community of researchers and professionals from policy, academia, and industry, who are seeking to develop a better understanding of decision-making to build capacity and improve the way decisions are made across diverse sectors and domains.

Written by Polina Levontin and Jo Lindsay Walton, “Visualising Uncertainty, a Short Introduction,” was supported by The Alan Turing Institute through a project titled ‘The Communicating of Uncertainty’, March 2019. A second catalogue in this series, “Decision Support Tools for Complex Decisions Under Uncertainty,” is a second edition of an existing catalogue, edited by Professor Simon French, Warwick University, from contributions of many in the AU4DM network. Both catalogues were designed and stylistically aligned by Jana Kleineberg to form the beginning of a series.

Both catalogues are available to download.
